Who can become members
All media professionals who subscribe to the aims and objects of the Foundation can become members, upon recommendation by a member and after approval by the Membership Committee.
All, except Institutional and Associate Members, shall have the right to vote. They shall constitute the General Body of the Foundation.
To be a member, please fill up the attached form and email it to fmp.india@gmail.com, or send it by post to the Director, Foundation for Media Professionals, A 101, Shatabdi Rail Vihar, Sector 62, Noida – 201301, Phone No 0120-2401619
The Membership Committee grants approval after FMP receives your membership fee, which may be paid by demand draft or cheque in favour of “Foundation for Media Professionals, New Delhi”. You may post the cheque to the above address or drop it at any of the branches or ATMs of HDFC Bank along with a pay-in slip crediting the payment to Foundation for Media Professionals, HDFC Bank A/c no 00261450000108. Or you may pay through net-banking.
Once membership is granted, fee is non-refundable. Those who had emailed the form would have to send a signed hard copy within 60 days. Membership is not transferable. You can claim a deduction for membership fee as it is exempt from income tax *.
*The application is in process and will have a retrospective effect.
