When journalists speak truth to power, the result is rage. When the journalist is a woman, the attacks are on her character, her body and often violent in nature.

Those in power, politicians, the police, the corrupt, the rich and mighty are increasingly targeting women journalists as they go about their work.

3. Tamil Nadu police to take immediate action on the complaints filed thus far by women journalists who have complained of threats, intimidation and harassment.
